Sometime last year, we were alerted to some suspicious bets on Ngerian Tennis matches being staked with large amounts by some Nigerian tennis players in Abuja. We passed the information on whatsapp to our agents to reject any bets on Nigerian Tennis. We also informed our software providers to suspend featuring Nigerian Tennis matches in our fixtures. This they did at the time but recently, we have seen the matches back on the fixtures. We will inform them again to stop featuring Ngeran tennis matches. In the meantime, we advise that no bet should be taken on any Nigerian tennis match in the event that they still appear in our fixtures. Any bet on any Nigerian tennis match will be voided by us. Please take note. It is a criminal offence for anyone to place bets on a game he is involved in and any such staker should be reported to the Nigerian Police.
