The Confederations of Africa Football (CAF) held a symposium in Rabat, Morocco organized under the patronage of the king of Morocco, his majesty Mohammed VI. The symposium which scheduled to hold between 18 and 19th July in Rabat, the Moroccan capital holds it agenda for the increment of the prestigious African continental football tournament (AFCON) to 24 teams participation.

Part of the dignitaries in attendance includes the FIFA President; Gianni Infantino, the general secretary, Fatma Samoura, CAF President; AHmad Ahmad and the 55 members elected in the Association affiliation to CAF. Inclusive were head coaches of the different African teams. Others who made the guest list are former African coaches: Claude Le Roy, Florent Ibenge, Herve Renard and others.

Also in attendance were ex-African footballers in the history of the game; Joseph-Antoine Bell, Rabah Madjer, Ahmed Faras, Austin “Jay-Jay” Okocha, Badou Zaki, Anthony Baffoe, Mohammed Timoumi, Hossam Hassan, Patrick Mboma, Geremi Njitap, etc. as well as Club leaders such as Roger Ouegnin, president of Ivorian giants, ASEC Mimosas, and Irvin Khoza of South African club, Orlando Pirates.
