New Palace boss Frank de Boer has carried over the club’s interest in re-signing Sakho, although the Mirror reports that Liverpool are refusing to budge in their valuation for the centre-back.

The Reds are only interested in a permanent deal for the France international rather than allowing him to leave on loan again, while their asking price remains at £30m.

Palace are unwilling to spend that amount on Sakho, despite the player himself favouring a move to the club ahead of Sevilla, who are also understood to be interested.

The Eagles have already signed centre-back Jairo Riedewald from Ajax this summer, while they are currently in talks with Arsenal over a possible deal to bring Calum Chambers to the club.

Sakho, meanwhile, remains surplus to requirements at Anfield following a fallout with manager Jurgen Klopp last summer.
