James Hadley Chase was just one
of various pseudonyms (pen name)
he used, and the most popular
one. Others were James L. Docherty,
Raymond Marshall, R. Raymond and
Ambrose Grant.

Born to Colonel Francis Raymond
of the Colonial Indian Army, he served
in the Royal Airforce during

His writing career saw him produced
