Hmmmm! Bravo, China! You have visionary and efficient leaders hence the visible developments in you. Your unprecedented developments are shinning illustration of the saying "You can do anything if you believe in yourself". When I read about developments in other countries - big and small, I always ask myself when my country, Nigeria, the giant of Africa ( giant on paper and corruption) will begin to experience real and widespread development ? When will Nigeria wake up from its slumber? It's been slumbering for way too long! Will we ever have uninterrupted power supply in Nigeria? Will we ever have good roads nationwide; with train networks snaking through every state? Will we ever have good, visionary and selfless leaders ? Will we ever enjoy basic amenities befitting a people with so much mineral resources? Will we ever have an efficient health care sector with good hospitals and clinics? Will our education sector ever be up to par with what's obtainable in developed and some developing countries? Will we ever experience a Nigeria where the security of lives and properties are given top priority? Will we ever experience a Nigeria where erring leaders, politicians and public office holders are held accountable for their deeds? Will we ever experience a Nigeria where affordable houses are built for the masses to purchase through mortgage facilities? There are just too many questions to ask about Nigeria. Honestly, I feel dispirited about the state of Nigeria
