Joeden Digital Marketing Manager Job Description

Joeden is an up-and-coming Nigerian Fashion Technology & Design company with the aim of empowering people with the unique designs in Fashion & Wearables to make people look and feel great. We are a young startup with huge ambitions to democratize fashion both in Nigeria and the entire continent, staffed with passionate people and even more grand visions, we believe that the Fashion landscape can be improved upon immensely to make Great Looks for all and everybody!

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to drive some of our vision across Social Media Platform and our belief, here in Joeden, is that Social Media would be the Digital Runway of the future where unique designs, prints and combinations will be lauded by an ever watching public. Our goal is to enable superior customer engagement while driving website ( and in the future Mobile ) traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing road map.


Role of the Digital Marketing Manager

a) Development of Joeden brand awareness and online reputation.
b) Working with the CEO and COO to map out a comprehensive marketing plan as well as drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
c)Establish success metrics and measurement for successful content and social marketing, align team on goals, and align results with company’s strategic growth objectives.
d) Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:

Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).

Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to Joeden management.


Requirements of the Digital Marketing Manager
Uniqueness, Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking is vital to Joeden so the MAJOR requirement is the persons ability to Demonstrate creativity and showcase documented immersion in social media.
Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience. Fresh Graduates are also welcome to apply.
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, twitter etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social.”
Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution.
