He needs to be more specific. Meanwhile c280 also has an M112 engine variant.

Some C230s have 1.8L engines with a kompressor.
There are also some C230 with either 2.5 or 2.6L engines too,though not very common.

I am not too conversant with Benz engines. The easiest way for you to know is through a VIN check as the engines fitted to this car are 11 petrol and 6 diesel making a total of 17 different engines.

The physical appearance isnt good enough to identify them as it can be manipulated. but the badge will have C200 kompressor at the boot, the engine will be a 4 cylinder (made obvious by the number of exhaust leaving engine block you should only see 4 pipes) and a kompressor kit you could also see the litre and engine type engraved on the block (Not too sure).
