I have this issue bothering me ever since i heard it... Pls i want to ask, is it wrong for someone to stand on an already existing protocol? I'm asking because someone said its wrong for one to stand on already existing protocol in other to contribute to what so ever was taking pls and i saw reasons with it buh not still cleared about it so i want to know if it's wrong and why pls. Either ways... Either right or wrong let me just know the reasons pls.... Thanks

You only stand on existing protocols when you've observed the protocols initially nd properly the first time u spoke


if u are to speak a later time, then you can stand on the existing or already established protocol observed by you.

bottomline is you cant stand on someone else existing protocol unless u create one yourself

Standing on existing protocols depends on organization's culture. However, most organisations that observe general assembly do not allow "standing on existing protocol". You establish protocols on every occasion you are recognised.

Personal experience as JCI member, we do not stand on existing protocol likewise members of Nigeria National Assembly do not stand on existing protocol.
