his is to inform all candidates who have applied for
admission into the Federal University of
Technology, Minna for the 2018/2019 academic session that the University's Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) will hold at the University Main Campus, Gidan Kwano, Minna as follows:
*(i) Unified Tertiary & Matriculation Examination (UTME) - Monday, 3rd to Thursday, 6th September, 2018*

*(ii) Direct Entry (DE) - Friday, 7th to Saturday, 8th
September, 2018*

Note: *The screening exercise will be conducted using Computer Based-Test (CBT) platform.* Candidates awaiting“O” level results are not qualified for the screening exercise.

*REGISTRATION*
Registration for *UTME and DE candidates will commence
on Wednesday, 15th August, 2018 and end midnight of
Friday, 31st August, 2018.*

Candidates are advised to visit the FUT Minna website: *www.futminna.edu.ng* for details on the procedure for
on-line registration, requirements for the screening
exercise, procedure for payment and other general
information.

*Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of Two
thousand Naira (N2,000) only (i.e. One thousand
Naira (N1,000.00) only for the Computer Based Test (CBT) and One thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only as
University Processing Fee through REMITA platform.*

*ELIGIBILITY*
(i) Only UTME and DE candidates who selected Federal
University of Technology, Minna as first choice are
eligible for the screening exercise.
(ii) UTME candidates must have a minimum UTME score
of 180, except for those courses for which higher
cut-off marks have been indicated on the University
website.
(iii) All candidates must possess a minimum of five‘O’level credits including Mathematics and English
Language at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed courses. In
addition, DE candidates must possess a minimum of
Lower Credit at National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma or Merit at NCE.
(iv) UTME candidates that have met the minimum score of their chosen courses, but do not have the UTME or O’level subjects combination are eligible to
change to any other course that its requirements
are met by the candidates.
(v) Only ‘O’ level result print-out(s) downloaded directly from the website(s) of the National Examining Bodies (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of
original certificate(s) will be accepted for verification.

you are welcome to the Chemical Engineering department in advance. You made a good choice and your score is OK to start with but I must tell you, the School of Engineering is the hottest in Futminna and their admission process is very strict. You Must Score at least 230(but aim for 250) in the post UTME to be on a safe side(Except you have LONG LEGS)
So for the forthcoming UPASE, study hard and BLAST

Very true. Ones you hit the required cut-off, you are sure of being enlisted in the first list, without connection or catchment area whatever..

But considering the fact that the room is 100k and you'll still be 4 in each room, one will prefer to stay off campus where a room of 100k is also very comfortable with privacy etc and you can still have a roommate and share the rent. So the choice is always urs

I'm home for holidays and I didn't consider it while in school. So I just need to wait till resumption before I can go there. while waiting, i am trying convincing my dad to shell out whooping 100k for accommodation. Lol
