A young man called simply identified as John was humiliated and disgraced after he was caught stealing at Amaiyi area of Abia state. The man from Okafia Igbere was apprehended by residents while stealing as he was beaten and paraded unclad by the youths of the community.

Now this man stole something and he was disgraced. This is a clear difft b/w the rich and poor
When the rich steals, they take the case to court only to bury it later and the case will be dismissed.
But when the poor steals, its either brunt alive, stoned to death, death sentence or public disgrace.
