What Happens When You Use Too Many "If's" Instead Of "Whens" by kingDien: 2:20pm On Aug 07, 2017
Goodafternoon my people. I did a post about the effect of using too many "if's" in our statements on my inspirational blog, i thought i share my thoughts here and find out what you think.
I feel when you use 'if' in your spoken word, especially words that demand actions, you just limit yourself to putting the neccesary action needed to carry out your words. "if i make money" just doesnt give you enough drive to make money. I hope I'm speaking your mind tho.
But when you use "when", you create a sense of commitment and attachment to your word. "when i get money" is a more determined version of "if i get money"
I compared "If" and "When" with respect to
Desire to achieve: ''if" doesnt bring that desire to achieve, but "when" brings a stronger desire.
commitment: "if" doesnt bring much sense of commitment to your statement, but "when" does.
option: "if" gives you an option. "if i make money" means you can either make money or not. "when i make money" gives you no sense of options.
vision and dream: a vision is a dream already in action. constant use of "if" just keeps you in a land of dreams. but "when" means you are ready to work towrds achievement, hence making your dream a vision and very attainable. i will love to know your thoughts. you can read the full post on http://www.kingdien.com/if_vs_when/. Its an inspiring piece.
