It rained black in Eket on Tuesday, 8/8/17. A carbon laden rain was noticed in the oil city of Eket today. Residents woke up today to witness what could rightfully call a “Black Rain”. According to the Facebook user Daniel Edon, he took sample of it for a lab test and promised that the report will be made public. “Incessant gas flare and oil spill is destroying our environment, while our people are only interested in politics and elections.
