Ok, I can't recall names right now. But think, can hollywood come up with village headmaster or funnier than Zebrudaya Okorigwe Nwogbo alias 4:30? So, as a Nigerian, there are some things that satisfy a part of me that Hollywood can never come up with, only nollywood.

Ma'am, you've got to be kidding me. Compare nollywood's finest movies to hollywood's average movies. The average movies still have the upper hand. Yes, there are movies in hollywood which nollywood movies are superior to and the reason being, is because those hollywood movies are trash. Generally, hollywood movies are superior to nollywood movies and no matter how much we try, we won't reach their level.

The purpose of education in Africa is to make you consider yourself and anything African as inferior to white people, even when you've done better. So, yes, some Nollywood movies could be better, but we can't just see it.

hahahahaha u funny... Talking of african village movies, have u nt watched Mr.bones... Nigerian movies are only funny to nigerian standard not internationally... Hollywood comedy stands out internationally and will make everyone laugh out loud... Nigerian movies cant make d world laugh... I know whites u have testified that our movies are just too dumb

Sometimes I want to see Keke napep in a movie or the grit of a Lagos slum or a hinterland Igbo village. Hollywood cannot supply any of that

When I type Nollyw my phone completes it as Nollywood, even Google too

I for one would have been kicking this guy with plenty slaps and bite but on a more serious not I've watched some interesting Nigerian movies, the first class though. Fellas judge this guy by firstly turning to your African Magic Showcase the show first class Nigerian movies there. Movies like The CEO, Finding Chris, Father's Day, Phone swap and so much more are far more interesting than Hollywood movies.

Besides the problem with Nigerians is that they will want to compare Hollywood stories to nollywood stories. You don't expect Bollywood to act spiderman or transformers or batman. The wedding party? I was forced to watch that movie due to the hype. Apart from the acts of Doyle and RMD, that film was just an average film.

Which Hollywood movies has he been watching? Plus in terms of meaningful plots, Hollywood has been depreciating. Regardless of that, they are still the best.

It's not by educating us to think inferior, collect 10 average Hollywood and 10 best nollywood and watch and critic with open mind. The difference is still between night and day, we stirll have a long way to go.
