If the game between Arsenal and Leicester City in the first match of this season’s British Premier League is to be used as a yardstick for what is to come, then we are all in for a thriller of a season.

It is not everyday that one gets to watch a seven goal thriller in the British Premier League but that is exactly what was on the menu this evening as both teams went out on full throttle at each other in a very thrilling attacking encounter at the Emirates Stadium.

Very significant for Arsenal is not just that they won the thrilling match at the end but the fact that their newly acquired star striker – Alexandre Lacazette – did not only play to the expectations of the home fans but did so in a very significant manner by opening his goal account in just two minutes of his first game in the British Premier League.

Another positive note for Arsenal to take from this game is the fact that the four goals they scored in this match came from the boots of four different different players of theirs and very importantly, three of them were from their strikers namely Alexandre Lacazette, Danny Welbeck and of course, Olivier Giroud who as usual scored a late but very important goal that proved to be a winner once again.
