On Wednesday, 9th August, 2017, delegates of Young Pharmacists' Group (YPG-NG) Ogun State led by the state coordinator, Pharm. Onwuka Chinedu Kester, paid a visit to the Ogun State NYSC Camp in Sagamu.

Pharm. Onwuka officially welcomed the new pharmacists to Ogun State, he then proceeded to talk about the aims and objectives of YPG.
In his address, he stated the need to bridge the gap between the old and young pharmacists, and the benefits Corps Pharmacists stand to gain from being involved in YPG activities within the state and nationwide.

Pharm. Onwuka enjoined the Corps Pharmacists to participate in YPG activities within the state, regardless of what part of the state they are eventually posted to, so as to achieve great feats, and ensure the image of YPG and the pharmacy profession is projected in good light.

At the end of his address, a donation of drug items was made by YPG to the camp clinic, these items were received by Mrs. Oyenuga, the Assistant Camp Director and the Camp Clinic Coordinator.

In her remark, she welcomed the YPG-NG Ogun State team, and expressed her immense gratitude to them for the initiative.
Mrs. Oyenuga stated how the visit and donation were timely, as the camp clinic had almost exhausted its supplies. She also thanked Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter for the earlier donation of drugs made.
She said she looked forward to having YPG visit again and would be pleased to work with them to ensure that the camp clinic is run smoothly subsequently.
