Pls Guys, how good is the emu 1212 pci card for vocal recording, particularly with the behringer b2 pro condenser mic? what daw is perfect for it? has anyone produced at least a song with dis very sound card, found it on olx abj for 15k, sales in progress, pls re-quote ur views on dz. @overboard, pls help! it is i ur gsmlogic42, abj(closed acct). Hey bro. I've used the EMU 1820, 1212 and the 0404 which are pretty much just different I/O's with the B2 mic some years back and it was very good. Though they are PCI or PCIe cards and most prefer USB and/or firewire, if you are OK that, go for it. I still have recordings from then. EMU generally are OK. I just Googled and saw the 0404 and 0202 come as USBs... they didn't back then, at least the 0404. There's really no best s/card for me but I favour RMEs (Fireface and UCX) Presonus range and though I'm yet to acquire them, Apogee and Universal Audio (Apollo Twin) |
