A three storey building at egbu road, opposite police station by former fire service in Owerri, Imo State collapsed by 4 am this morning. The building was formerly a two storey building before the landlord decided to turn it into a three storey building. Tenants were still living in the compound before it sank. The building collapsed with tenants under the debris. So far, eight persons have been rescued, out of the eight two have been confirmed dead, while six are seriously injured.
