F.C Barcelona Team News Ahead Of Spanish Super Cup Game Against Real Madrid. by uneeking(m): 4:52pm On Aug 13, 2017
All roads lead to the Nou Camp in Catalona this evening as the first El Clasico match on Spanish soil for the new season takes place between hosts F.C. Barcelona and perennial opponents Real Madrid at 9 p.m.

For the F.C. Barcelona fans as well as for many other football followers, all eyes will be on the team’s left flank to see who replaces Neymar Jnr. who recently left the team for PSG and how that player performs his role.

Can Barca dominate Madrid with its new-look squad or will it be an easy win for the visitors? How does the new Barcelona line-up look like? Many questions will be answered in this game later tonight. We bring to you insider facts about F.C. Barcelona’s new-look team.

Even when this is not a league match, it is of no lesser importance and will surely be as competitive as it has always been for years now. It is even more important for the two coaches as they have never faced each other as Managers in the Super Cup Competition.

In this post, I will be focusing mainly on the F.C. Barcelona team as it is the one that has made some changes to its squad and will be looking a bit different from what we are used to seeing. That in itself makes Real Madrid favorites going into the match. The game itself is a two legged affair with the second leg coming up at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in a few day’s time (on Wednesday).

Now to the main issues. How will the Barcelona Manager cope with the gap created in the famous MSN with the sudden departure of Neymar? Are we going to see an MSD or MSWhat? What is the team line-up going to look like?

Reliable sources reaching our News Desk has it that Barcelona will be going into this game today without Arda Turan, Marlon Santos and Sergi Samper while Real Madrid willbe without the services of Luka Modric and Jesús Vallejo.

Further more, F.C Barcelona are likely to have Gerard Deulofeu start the game on the left side of their attack as direct replacement for Neymar and playing alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. The mid-field will have the usual actors in place as Andres Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets take their normal positions.

At the back, the center-backs will be Gerard Piqué and Samuel Umtiti with Jordi Alba at his usual position at left-back. The right-back is where the Manager will have to decide between Aleix Vidal and new-comer Nelson Semedo with the odds slightly favoring the former.

And so at the end of the day, the line-ups are likely going to take the shape below;

Barcelona

Ter Stegen; Vidal, Piqué, Umtiti, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta; Messi, Suárez, Deulofeu

Real Madrid

Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Kovacic, Casemiro, Kroos; Isco; Ronaldo, Benzema
