Airman Kalu Bernard, has on Tuesday been sentenced to death by hanging for killing his lover, Solape Oladipupo, aka Shomzy Shomzy. Kalu had on March 12, 2017, killed Oladipupo at her Corporal and Below Quarters, Compound 9, Air Force Base, Makurdi, on the suspicion that she was in a love relationship with another man.

He had broken into Oladipupo’s home before shooting her in the neck at close range.

According to report, the judgment started by 9am on Tuesday and dragged till 4pm when it was stood down before the panellists reconvened at 7.30pm.

The charges against the 21 year old Kalu include murder, house breaking, impersonation, attempted murder. The 70-page court findings lasted for about two hours, the Judge Advocate, Flight Lieutenant M.A. Umoh, listed the eight-count charges.

However, the defence counsel, Abimiku Ewuga, has urged the court to temper justice with mercy, saying the accused was his family breadwinner.

Justice finally served.
He is a foolish man for killing a woman that is not even your wife because she's dating another man.

A lesson for jealous men out there to learn. Even if you catch your wife red handed doing "ikwokirikwo" with your friend,just ignore them and walk out of that marriage. She will certainly live to regret it because even the man will still leave her.

Moreover,why kill someone when there are countless women looking for men to call their own.
