YBNL Boss, Olamide may have succeeded in giving the streets which he represents and Nigerians as a whole something to dance to while creating another hit record of his own. However, the Federal Government and especially the Ministry of Health find “WO!!” rather repulsive to say the least.

The Federal Government Department, through its official twitter handle, condemned the now viral street anthem. The Federal Ministry of Health criticised the explicit mentions of cigar in the lyrics of the song and an accompanying Video showing someone smoking the controlled substance.

The tweets mentioned that “WO!!” is in defiance to the Tobacco Control Act 2015 in the Nigerian Constitution. The thread also reminded Nigerians of the dangers in engaging in such habits.
