Unemployment in Nigeria is old news. A lot of people have made a start in life by becoming artisans yet professional bodies seem to have a bone to pick with these ones.
What's your take? Isn't it entirely genius that people are able to apply knowledge in little capacities and solve problems that these professional bodies leave hanging with the excuse of lack of government funds? Also read the full article.

Artisan are okay in few select professions but not all. Look at traditional bone setters, herbal medicine sellers, they are are a nuisance, putting the lives and health of innocent Nigerians in danger. It's because of pple like them that professional bodies are very cautious about allowing artisan into their profession.

But then the professional bodies are leaving lots of ends untied and that's why their fields seem porous
