*Topic:* OUR OMNIPOTENT GOD
*Read:* Colossians 1:1-16

*MEMORISE:* "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." *(Matthew 28:18)*

*EXPOSITION:*
Every now and then, the Spirit of truth brings to our remembrance, precious truths from God's Word, which we seem to have forgotten, or seem to be losing hold of. One of such is 'Power'.

Power is said to be the ability to do things. In declaring that all power is in His hands, Christ clearly assures that none of those who believe in Him has any reason to be troubled or distressed, because He can do ALL THINGS. God's power is evident in Christ as He blots out the vilest of sins (Matt. 9:2-6), cures the deadliest of sickness (Matt. 5:25-34), solves the toughest of mysteries (Jn. 6:19-20), destroys the strongest of satanic works (Lk. 13:11-16), banishes the cruellest of demons (Lk. 8:26-33), to mention but a few.

What power, principality, throne, or kingdom is it that troubles your life, marriage, career, business, etc.? What power is it that battles with your spirit, soul and/or body? What power is it that rattles your mind and takes away your joy? Get connected to the POWER above all powers and you are set free. His power is from above, not from abroad. Being from above, it is beyond the reach of the devil and his cohorts.

This is the same power that sent the devil eternally parking from the eternal place of bliss in heaven (Isa. 14:12ff). This is the same power that ultimately gives us victory over everything associated with the devil (1 Cor. 15:57). This is the same power that ultimately silences the devil, regardless of the powers he claims to possess, to deceive his foolish followers (Rev. 12:11ff). This is the same power already made available to everyone who cares to accept Christ's Lordship, believing wholly in Him alone (Jn. 1:11,12). Have you gone to Him for that power (cf. Jn. 6:37)?

*PRAYER POINTS:*
1. Praise God for He is the Omnipotent God that no other power can withstand.
2. Pray that God will give you the boldness and faith that sees possibility in every situations.
3. Ask for the power of God to give you breakthrough, deliverance, healing and success in every area of your life.
