Super Eagles and Hapoel Be'er Sheva midfielder John Ogu has been left disappointed after his side failed to make it to the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Ogu’s Israeli outfit was edged out by Slovenian club, Maribor on Tuesday night.

Maribor beat the boys from Israel to the Champions League group stage ticket thanks to the away goal rule.

Maribor lost 2-1 in Israel but the return leg ended 1-0 in favor of Maribor who held on to a 15-minute opener by Mitja Viler.
