Some people do not know that the whole idea of google was conceived as a university thesis. Sergey Brin and Lawrence Page were P.hD students in Stanford University, where they designed and implemented what has turned out to be the world's largest business today! I am greatly inspired by these guys, and surfing the web today, I came across a copy of that thesis.
