And who da hell takes out a loan to pay for another loan, do nigerian banks not check people's credit history before lending out to them?

If he had been given out 5k, little by little, am sure they wouldn't have foreclosed on him. And about checking out credit history, our banks (like everything Nigeria) are too lazy to do their due diligence.
