purplekayc:not mathematically. If they end in draw, Zambia will have 5points. With 2 matches to go. Thats 6 points. So if Zambia win their remaining 2 and we lose our remaining 2, Zambia qualifies with 11 points, while we will have 10. No matter d result of 2moro, we haven't qualified yet. But just a matter of time 1 Like |

suremanpatriot:Nigeria is much on the way to qualification without anyone's assistance. We have 10 points with 2 matches to go. Zambia has 4. With a game in hand 2Moro, which even they win, they will 7, 3 points behind nigeria. Technically, the only team out now is Cameroon, the rest 3 has mathematical chances of qualifying. And we have a goal difference of +7. We are much on point. 5 Likes 1 Share |

MATHEMATICALLY, ITS NOT OVER. NIGERIA NEEDS ONE MORE POINT TO QUALIFY WHILE HOPING ZAMBIA DO NOT WIN ALL THEIR GAMES LEFT INCLUDING NIGERIA @UYO BY TWO GOAL MARGIN. AS IT STANDS A DRAW WITH ZAMBIA NEXT MONTH IN UYO IS ENOUGH |

A loss for Zambia tomorrow is bye bye to world cup for them. You don't expect us not to at least pick 1 point for the remaining 2 games (that's if Zambia comes here to even draw o.) Once they lose tomorrow, we are 99% in Russia. meforyou1: 2 Likes |

Naija can never do something or progress without causing confusion and commotion and turning every Nigerian to mathematician Play nations cup we go dey hope for zimbabwe to beat egypt 4-0 while cote' di voire draw 0-0 with morrocco before we progress Play world cup we go dey hope for Trinidad and tobago to beat spain 5-1 while Germany lose 2-0 to Tahiti before we qualify for round of 16 If this one beat this one and this one lose this one we go qualify.. na our motto be that 7 Likes 1 Share |

Cameroon held Nigeria to a 1-1 draw at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Group B of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Moses Simon gave the guests the lead in the primary half however a moment half punishment from Vincent Aboubakar implies the Super Eagles need to hold up somewhat longer before a billet in Russia can be fixed. The West African monsters were in high spirits going to Yaoundé as mentor Gernot Rohr began with a similar XI that won 4-0 in Uyo. It was however the Indomitable Lions that began on the front foot, putting the guests under early weight. 1-1 was the way it finished in Yaoundé as the outcome sees Nigeria hold their lead in Group B with 10 focuses while Zambia, who go to go up against Algeria on Tuesday, are second on 4 focuses. sikells: True. If Zambia beats Algeria and Cameroon; and tie with us THEN we still qualify based on head2head. The best result for tomorrow's game, from the perspective of Nigeria, is a draw between Algeria and Zambia. This will disqualify Algeria from qualification since their maximum possible drops from 10 to 8. Zambia's maximum will also drop from 13 to 11, which means we only need 12 points (i.e two draws) to qualify ahead of them. |
