I Damaged My System Doing A Disk Cleanup. Somebody Help Me. by Tywrites: 6:15am On Aug 30, 2017
Hello. I am in dire straits. I did a disk cleanup, ticked and deleted temp files and memory debug files, and now, my system is slower than a 1923 calculator. It doesn't boot on time and when it eventually does, it takes an average of more than 5minutes for a click or button to take effect. All the gurus and experts, pls advise me on what to do. I work solely on this laptop to earn my living. Thanks.

Alright, I think this is what happened, you have deleted some OS files during the clean up or there is a crack in some of them already.

Solution, get the OS installation disc either in a bootable flash or the disc itself. Insert it and go to command prompt through the advanced option. Type in scannow as a command and run it.

Will research tell you more

If you have solution kindly drop as Op requested, must you make money from every single plight of people sad.
Op do system restore, any file lost must have been backed up automatically by system before carrying out the task.
If it didn't work, save your important files in an external drive and re- install O.S
