But WizKid is not on my list

Now I see him working with Drake and major lazer. . .i keep on asking myself why this man is famous

Especially how many Nigerians are praising him

Wizkid is talented and makes good music that appeals to a foreigner, making him love the west African sound. So it makes him get the attention of many big artistes but Davido (name stealer) just makes noise about money.

As a nigerian I can agree with you that wizkid's music is mostly terrible, indeed davido has got better songs recently than him although his messes up sometimes too

why is wizkid so popular ? wizkid is a very good networker and he's very ambitious and he's also a songwriting engine all these have led to international success for him, which is a great thing for nigeria

I went to gidifest recently and left while he was playing didn't enjoy it him 1 bit, however he does have maybe 2 or 3 songs I like

songs don't always have to be about freedom fighting to be great sometimes you just want to turn up however there are lots of nigerian artists that sing deep and meaningful songs you should check them out

At gidifest before wizkid came with his sounds n made me leave other great singers like brymo 2face efya from ghana and show dem camp really rocked the show

Wizkid has made it so far in the music industry to emerge one of the richest Nigerian musician in 2020. According to Grabalert, Wizkid worth over $30 million and in naira N11 Billion. better days are coming
