Naija Sitcom - Jaguar

Does any body remember this old Sitcom for Naija in the 80's called Jaguar, Jaguar. During the Intro they usually sing this song -

OH JAGUAR, i remember him. but i heard he is dead now.

i loved watching his movis.

I heard NTA was doing a remake.

i remember him eating white rice with five fingers

I also remember his trademark cry - "he changes gear while crying". Is Jaguar really dead?

there is an episode i can never forget, i and my sister still make fun out of the dialogue.
jaguar stole some money and the money kind of had a spell to it and his hands got glued together and the money was blown under the bed by wind.
then the owner of the money then asked for the money.

Mr A: "jaguar wa de moni"
Jaguar: : look am for ground"
Mr A: "jaguar i say wa de moni"
Jaguar: "look am for ground"

and it went on and on till the end.

Does any one remember this movie too "BOBO" it a comedy around that period and had clarus, giringori, poripopo, jide kosoko, and some other clowns in it.

ahhhhh i loved watching Jaguar with all the family when we were in nigeria. i was gonna ask about BOBO but some else just did. if i find the movie i'd love to buy it. anuy one know where i can get one please? we still talk about that film till date, (this farm far or this far farm ooooooooooo LOL)

It's funny how every Nigerian comedy seems to have disappeared from TV.

i use to like watching him argue with his wife Grace i remember one time Jaguar peed on the bed and he was so ashamed cuz Grace was telling all the neighbors!!!!!!!!! lol

pls can anyone find his pics and post it here. I can rmbr the jaguar tingy but cant clearly figure out wot he looks like,
the only tin i can rmbr is tha intro song that went, like, my belle o,my head o, lol,funny old nigerian comedy, they still rock though

Nigerians Movie industry have no good record keeps. movies like jagwa should be used as examples in film schools. because they come with originality.

Jagua's wife Grace was an eternally patient woman. Definition of a good wife. Always cleaning up after her deadbeat husband. Such a lovely woman.
