What is the biblical role of the husband? What is the biblical role of the wife? Biblical and not traditional.... Sorry if the thread already screens out your views. |

bukatyne:in Genesis, the purpose of marriage is for companionship, intimacy and procreation. Man is the head of the family, he's to provide for the family. To protect the family, to guide the children and to bring them up in the way of the Lord. The woman is to be an helpmate, a companion for the man. She's to take care of her husband and children well as the man provides for the needs. She's to give godly counsel to the children and raise them aright. |
