Life on earth is all about associations. You are what you believe in or associate with. You are who you are today because of the things and people you once associated with. No man can survive without the other because our survival here on earth is dependent on each other.

In our lives, there are quite some funny things which are enemies but appear as friends. These things give us false hopes and make us comfortable when we are supposed to be working. These friendly enemies are always there for us even when we feel others have abandoned us. They are closer than even our real friends.

These enemies are not humans but habits and associations which we must avoid like a plague if we really want to be great in life. Here are some of them friendly enemies in our lives.

1. Success

There is nothing as comforting and accommodating as success. It makes you feel fulfilled and satisfied. Success has a way of giving people false hopes because we feel we have already arrived at our destination and we need nothing more. Success is very dangerous and can destroy you if the utmost care is not taken. Success is sweet and can also send you on an errand to failure’s high way.

A time after success is not a period of sleeping but a time to engage in more work. This article is not in any way telling you that celebrating a success is bad, but then, it doesn’t mean we should go to sleep.
