Motorola is pushing a new update for the same, that apparently adds the Depth Adjustment Bar. Motorola also suggests users update the Camera application as soon as they receive the upgrade. The update only adds Live Depth Adjustment Bar, and it doesn't bring any new features whatsoever. Previously, this feature was only available for Review units, which annoyed several users. The update is already rolling out to the users of Moto G5s Plus from September 7. If you did not receive the update try checking for it manually by heading over to My Apps section in the Play Store.
