At about 2 weeks ago I advised the OP to dispose the car within a reasonable price while making an offer to him. Thereafter I made an offer to him which he accepted and asked me to come for inspection which I did and we agreed on the price after inspection. After inspection I decided to pay the amount agreed upon but he said he was not ready cos he was likely to have a better offer.However after a day he called that he had accepted my offer that I should come and pay. I then told him that I had traveled and that I'll get in touch with him as soon as am back. Actually I had a project outside Lagos so I just have to leave my location spending time and resources so as not to keep him waiting. All of my journey movement were known to him and I kept him updated. As soon as I arrived I called him and asked him to let meet at a public location. He told me he was on his way. I waited for him for hours. He kept promising he was on his way until I got tired and left. Till this moment he didn't pick my calls neither did he give any explanation or apologies for his action.
My conclusion was that he was a dubious person and my demand that we should meet at a public place rather than where I did the inspection was what made him abscond possibly because the car was stolen. If he has a more genuine reason for his action I challenge him to come defend himself here

Lol funny, u said u car is stolen, not cool. After ur inspection, u saw all the docs carried my name. Do a search on Nairaland den u will comfirm. A lot of pple are on that car. Abt yesterday, got a call from ma office wen I got to ikj I had to go, so sorry. Bt the car is sold nw.

No vex chief, the time I was waitin for u, call keeps coming in. @least I waited for 4days or more for u to come pick it. Within those 4days, offer keeps coming in. I didn't mean to keep u waiting, so sorry again.

Bro you really goofed. You told me you were coming with the car and never mentioned that the car was in the process of being sold. Or you saw a buyer on your way coming after I told you my location and u said you're on your way to the place so we conclude on payments?. Bro am not a child. In fact I waited in the hope that you were on your way. All of a sudden you ignored my calls and no explanation nor any communication until this moment on this platform. Mind you I never saw the car document. I still stand on my earlier statement that there is something fishy your hiding and you cannot be trusted. So impliedly you had sold the car before I came yet you passed mi through all those rigours? A night before I came I informed you of my coming. When I came I inform you and you said you're on your way. Only for me to tell you my location and you still said you're on your way not until you stopped picking my calls. All the expenses spent on all these and the time wasted will surely be taken from you by the grace of God. If you don't know those two trips for inspection and for the payment were from Abuja. If we hadn't concluded would I leave my project site? Who bears the cost of your foolishness and greediness? My time and money? You think you have disappoint me? No o. You have only sown a seed which you'll definitely reap. You cannot be trusted.
