Late Friday night/Saturday morning was on my way back with my dad,we were towing our faulty car with an suv coming from Berger we past so many check points tipping them to allow us continue our journey home till we met our waterloo, the belt we were usingin towing the vehicle cut jst right in front of a police station and lo & behold, the police were just about leaving the station for patrol they immediately blocked us and asked us to tip them but by then we were already broke we pleaded nd pleaded but to no avail claiming it's wrong to tow a vehicle wt another vehicle just as the rest were saying....and i begged wt the #200 i had 4 them to accept it but they refused finally they impounded the two vehicles for the 2nd time (was 1st impounded by the frsc for same reasons and later set us free after paying a fine of close to #10,000,we were escorted by 2frsc official 4rm sagamu interchange to berger) we were stranded coz it's already 2am had to sleep over in a church after much begging....

Now we later went backfor the vehicles as they requested with#2,000 which we tld them that we had then on getting thr today @8am as they instructed they demanded #20,000 notn more notn less or risk being charged to court. Currently m confused now i knw some will say why didn'twe use towing van but the answer is that the costto hire 1 is high because they charge per distance ..and we couldn't afford it....

Now am asking for advice on what to do now they gave us till Tuesday...

Record their voice asking for bribe.
See a lawyer.
Tell them to go to court.
Make a stand.
The worst you could get in court is a fine.

The money you spent on Frsc is more than enough to tow the car to a cheap decent hotel in Sagamu, sleep over in the hotel then look for mechanic the next day.

I'm not sure the police go accept 2K after the car Don sleep overnight for station.
