Edo people will never forget how Lucky Igbinedion embezzled the budget and was let off by the court with a slap on the wrist. Nigerian leaders (elected or not) are a curse to the country, disasters in human form. Every year you see people even older than him bowing for a plate of party food. I don't like that man and never will. I see people at his birthday party as hungry and proverty stricken fellows seeking for one favour or the other.

A man who tried to play the role of Oba of Benin when some kings came as he cornered them to his house. They later found out he is not a king. He is not in good book of the former Oba of Benin before he(Oba) died and has stopped attending Igwue festival.

while I agree with you that his son looted Edo, I think esama can afford a rolls even if his son was not a gov. this was a man who bought planes in the 80s and 90s when the idea of private ownership of planes was still a novelty.

who told you? do you know how much ITV ( his TV station makes in a year) he also has numerous real estate investments. he has some properties in some of the choicest areas in the UK and some other countries.

Very nice nd apt question .Despite being a great man with a sharp business acumen,he is in the habit of always owing his workers their dues and likes playing to to the gallery by announcing to pay mostly when he is celebrating his birthday,then his P.A would go ahead and tell the workers ;Daddy said he would pay some parts of our salaries that he is owing,this would then make the workers get into a frenzy by saying thank you daddy over something that is legitimately theirs. Poverty is indeed a disease as they say....



I like the way Oshiomole finally placed the so called godfathers by rendering them irrelevant politically. Himself and the son looted the state dry which made OBJ say ;some of the governors re celebrating their papa's birthday with money stolen from their state's coffers...

that's fanatically the same idea pastors use to swindle their members. They create that ideology that they have more and probably dont need ur money but the reverse the case. The rolls was actually gifted to him by lucky. Lucky had about 6luxury cars shipted into nigeria the same time and gifted another to a well known elder in benin and kept the other 4 in his already filled up parking lot. Close to 600mils allone went in exhange for just cars, something that could transformed edo state into somewhere better....

Well said. His university despite being the first private uni doesnt have one single decent modern structure Yet it is one of the most expensive. It is almost scandalous. Look at Afe Babalola, Covenant even Adeleke University to mention a few. He spends all his money on self aggrandizement. He should read the signs. Times have changed. People are no longer interested in this kind of thing anymore.
