Authors of published and unpublished stories all over Nigeria and Africa can submit their stories on the website (under the WAA2017 category) and invite people to vote on their stories...
The top 20 stories with the highest votes by the end of September qualifies to continue participating in the competition for the next month.

The winner of the annual award gets a cash price of 100,000 and a publishing contract courtesy of Eolitepress Nigeria Limited.
The 2nd placed winner gets a token of 50,000 plus an extra cashable 10,000 wallet point on writerspay.com while the 3rd placed winner gets 20,000 plus an extra 5000 points on the website that can be used to purchase any book/books in the Bookstore section.

Please note that Writerspay.com is a new platform created purposely to encourage and reward upcoming authors thereby helping them to attain the height other legendary writers attained.
Therefore, participants can not rely on other members of the site to vote for their stories, they will have to canvas for vote by sharing their story link on social media.
