Breaking! Two Fed Poly Oko Students Now Free After Police Smashed Kidnap Gang by massmediang: 12:17pm On Sep 14, 2017

Two female students of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State who were seen in a viral picture online yesterday as they were stripped by kidnappers have been freed from captivity by men of the Nigeria Police. The Kidnapping of the girls, it was gathered took place about a month ago but the girls were freed four days ago.

Reports have it that the kidnap gang was smashed by the police when members of the gang had gone to an agreed venue to collect the N500,000 ransom for one of the kidnapped girls.

Unknown to them, the police were on their trail and as they arrived the venue, they were nabbed by the police who then traced the others and made some arrests. It was gathered that 3 of the gang members were arrested while 3 others escaped. Investigations are on-going to track down and arrest the others.

A source spoke with one of the released girls in her maternal home, Ogidi, Anambra State where she was celebrating her release with her relatives.
