An Inspirational book is your "morning devotional" or some other books that impart a divine influence on your mind. A Motivational book is "gifted hands" or any other book that aims to bring out the best of you! Sometimes, there is a very thin line though! |

Motivational books most of the time tend to create the desire in you to be your very best at whatever you do. Inspirational books on the other hand still try to achieve the same effect primarily through stories. Most times it is left to the reader of the inspirational work to pick out lessons for himself. Difficult to differentiate. Motivational books encourage, push or drive you to re-discover yourself or improve or act. Inspirational books aim at generating an idea or ideas that you can act on. |
