We talked about it today, and i was telling some guys if a car like this will run perfectly again except maybe if they replace 70% of the part.

Some said it can be fixed.

What do you think?

Trust Americans/Japanese and their advanced technologies, they would Salvage the car at the instance of our greedy Nigerian Importers and ship down to Nigeria and sell as Tokunbo (which is the maximum limit of affordability to the Average Nigerian)...
In fact, most of the Tokunbo cars mediocre Nigerians drive and show off have been in worse conditions.

So, somebody died in a car for over 9months...discovery of the corpse and car was done a few days back...you got to read about the incident just today on Nairaland land, and all you could think of is how to ship the car into Nigeria and sell?

Replacement of all electronic parts, sensors and mechanical parts

Replacement of upholstery

Respraying of antirust paint on chassis

It's not worth the stress.

Im sure it can work, probably after replacing many parts
The question is if its going to worth the stress, spending more than half of money for new on repair.

I wouldn't mind it as a gift sha wink

Gut it.
Send engine to engine rebuilders. Tranny goes to transmission specialists. Interior people should take a look at the innards. Car electronic guys will tell you what needs to be replaced. The bare body could be sandblasted, reprimed and repainted.
Reassemble.
If it was a Ford model T or a Delorean, it would be restored and likely sold at a handsome profit.
The problem is not whether it can be restored. It is whether it is worth being restored.

The point is not wether it can be restored ,but the cost of the restoration ,its not worth the stress .
The best thing is just to dismantle and sell the good parts .
Latest cars have too many sensitive electronics .
If it was Ijapa ,the thing go work na grin
