The marketing manager of 9mobile (or whoever is responsible for their marketing and business strategy) should be sacked and replaced.

Etisalat has the least market share of users. Their coverage is not strong in many places. They came late to Nigerian market meaning most Nigerians have bought their primary sim card, so they can only use Etisalat as second disposable sim. With all these factors already stacked against them, you will think they will employ basic marketing strategy of attracting more customers. But nooo.

Their data plans/packages is the most expensive of all the four telecoms companies. Their call tarrif is also expensive. And they have complicated recharge codes compared to others. Who wants to further complicate his already complicated life. Who wants to pay more when he can get better services cheaper elsewhere.

Etisalat may pack up finally from Nigeria if they don't rethink and restrategise their business.
