Revenge Is Best When Served Cold. by Adekdammy: 8:29am On Sep 21, 2017
*Revenge is best served when it is cold*
That was what Olu told his elder brother Akin when they heard that their wicked uncle who made life unbearable for them after the death of their father needs their help.

He chased them out of their father's house, accused their mother of killing his brother and above all, made them suffer to the extent of begging and most times ridiculed.

Now Olu and Akin are made and their uncle needs money to survive his health challenge, he begged them for help but Olu felt they should allow him to die a slow and painful death than paying his medical bills and see him live, Olu reminisced on how he chased them out from the house their father built and how they had to struggle for survival in a one room apartment, he thought of how they could not pay house rent and how the landlord sent them packing, he thought of how their mother died because they could not afford to take her to the hospital and how their wicked uncle treated them when they ran to him for help.

Olu said to himself, now revenge is sweet when it is served cold, Akin was shocked with the words of his brother, he told him that what if they had died like their parents? what if they are still beggars?, what if they are nobody? What If God is allowing the table to turn just to watch their reactions? What if they help their uncle and he survives and he repents, does he not thinks they would have won a soul and not send a soul to hell?

These words broke Olu and he agreed with his brother to help their so called wicked uncle.

Are u on the path of revenge because the table has turned, hold on for a while, remember that God allowed the table to turn not because he wants you to revenge but because He wants you to help the offender even when he or she is at your mercy.

Though it's a tough task but it's worth it.

We tap into the grace to *let go and let God*, amen.

Have a blessed day. Maranatha. ..He cometh soon.
