they operate on a different platform, multichoice only have rights over satelitte channel not telecom broadcast , the technology that will be used by Tstv according to some is hbb, which hybrid or fusion of satelitte and telcom to view television, I believe channels like bein sports that will broadcast the football leagues will be on the telecom site as such dstv has no right over them

Fair enough if they have done their homework. In some countries, Kodi is banned and wont work without a VPN. So because something is on the internet, does not give them the right to broadcast it. The fact that they have advertised showing it, means they may be liable.

For example, with kodi, mobdro etc, you can watch anything but you wont see telcos offering unlimited intetnet endorse those apps even though they know they exist.
