Despite the passage of anti-land grabbing law by the Ogun State Government in 2016, the activities of the dare-devil land grabbers seems to have returned. This time, more worst.

Just yesterday, many people ran hetter-scattered for their lifes at LESI, IFO, Ogun State when the same land grabbers invaded their communities with various dangerous weapons.

it seems these land grabbers are more powerful than the Ogun State Government or the state is doing eye-service for just passing a law that will not be implemented.

unlike Lagos Goverent that set-up an organised and visible committee with a visible office after enacting the same law. in Ogun State, the reverse is the case there is no such committee and if there is, there is no visible office one can send a complaint to.

it is disheartening that after buying a land in Ogun state for substantial amount of money and build a resting place for yourself with all that have been able to save over the years, you can not leave peacefully on your property again. people now sleep with one eye closed because of the activities of the land grabbers which had become more deadly than before...

The government of Ogun State should please take the security of the citizen very important, especially on Land matters. several people had lost their lives for buying land legally.

Ogun state government need to setup a working and visible committee with office as it is obtainable in Lagos State where anyone can walk in and make complaints without fear.
