2.0L leather approx. N4.0million(N3.95m);2.4L leather N4.15million. Without leather is over N3million depending on engine capacity i.e. 2.0L & 2.4L.

FYI there should be no "brand new" 2009 Sonata left on market, They are selling 2010s now and will start selling 2011 by April.
If you have time for vacation, schedule one for dec. to US and pick remaining 2010s for a lower price

Naija is always (most of the time) lags about 1 year behind in the vehicle sales.

I'm faced with a similar dilemma.
Buying a brand new Hyundai or a toks Camry/Accord for my wife.
Although my heart goes with a brand but all this rumors about korean cars is worrying me.
Please people in the house with experience on both cars please advise

@poster I think the figure should be around 3.0m - 3.5m

The Sonata is less than 3m. I think about 2.8m.

If that is the case then Sonata leads based on price.
But I'll still like to know more about the car (functionality) before settling for it.

You are correct about the time lag for new cars here in naija.
I'm still waiting for the restyled 2010 Hyundai Tucson, not for me though.

The replies from contributors gave you 'I think Prices'. I just gave you what it was. Like sultaan said what you may likely see now is the 2010 model. The best thing to do would be to call Hyundai Nigeria and the reps here.
Don't forget, you could get promos and nice offers for some short periods; you find out.
Currently, the 2010 Sonata 2.0L leather is N4.095million . It went up a bit this year.

If you want the Sonata without leather, then its cheaper. Personally, I don't consider it. Your question about the functionality may be answered after you've settled the price issue; otherwise it would be of no use.
