A 33-year old lady, Mercy Ameh has been condemned to three years detainment without a choice of fine for stealing garments at the well known Aswani Market in Lagos.

The lady conceded under the steady gaze of the Isolo Magistrates court where she was summoned for intrigue and taking. The directing Magistrate, Mrs O.A. Adedayo discovered her liable and imprisoned her as needs be.

The episode occurred at the market situated along the Oshodi/Apapa Expressway in Lagos.Never Miss Out reports that the convict went to the market and imagined as though she went to get a few things yet went there to take.

She conceded under the watchful eye of the court that she stole a sack containing garments having a place with one Mrs Atunike Adeniyi worth about N1.4m. Never Miss Out assembled that the proprietor, Adeniyi kept the pack at a place and was going to different clients when Ameh focused on her and stole the things.
