"More children are born in Nigeria every year than in all of European Union" - Alexis Nasard, CEO of Bata Shoe Company while speaking on CNN.
In 1998 at an Innovation conference, Bill Gate said he believes that in about 5 years or more that people would be able to have a personal computer that can fit into their pockets and they would be able use it as a Camera, Telephone, Diary, Video and Music player. At that time experts thought that was over ambitious and even if it were possible it will take a very long time to invent such a gadget.
Today, our mobile phones can do all those and more.‎
Last week an American billionaire, Elon Reeve Musk at an Innovation conference said that by 2022, his company SpaceX would open about 40 homes in planet Mars to host about 400 guests in the first phase of his project.‎
This he believes is the beginning of permanently relocating people to planet Mars, although the project is meant to be tourism and temporary in the interim. They will transport tourists who can afford the trip to Mars and they can live there for about 6 months.
In Africa, we are yet to build an international public railway systems. In 1804 when Richard Trevithick built the first Train in Wales, it was just steam powered locomotive train. Today, locomotive train has developed from steam powered to Diesel, Electricity,Gas Turbine, Atomic and Fuel cell. Some more advanced countries has even gone beyond Locomotive to High Speed rails: Magnetic Levitation, Solar Powered and Electricity.
Today, most of the railway systems in Africa were built by their colonial masters, and Nigeria is still building slow locomotive railways. Simple diseases such as Malaria, Polio, Meningitis is still 2017 government project. Basic social infrastructure and governance remains a far fetched dream.

Islam is the most practised religion in Africa, as such, Arabic is the most spoken language before Swahili.
Africans are more concerned about what happens when they die, rather than care about what happens while they are alive.
An African can starve, kill, fight, die and reject his family and loved ones for religion. Ironically, the founders, prophets, God and Angels in these religions are not black Africans.
While you're yet to build a drainage to evacuate your own waste and ordinary rainfall on your streets; the whites are planning to move to another planet because of Global warming, Climate Change, Natural disasters and over population...Keep shouting "Allah Akbar"‎
