The Portugal captain has won the award four times, first with Manchester United in 2008 and then with Los Blancos in 2013, 2014 and 2016. Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has auctioned one of his four Ballon d'Ors for a whopping £600,000 at a charity auction. The incredible gesture was made by the Portugal captain with every penny raised from the single replica going to the Make-A-Wish charity. The organisation attempts to grant one wish to young children fighting life-threatening conditions. Ronaldo first won the award with Manchester United in 2008, and then a further three times with Los Blancos in 2013, 2014 and 2016. The 32-year-old specifically asked for the replica of his 2013 award to be auctioned.
