Africa is a vast continent and the constituents of Africa are some times or often times more disconnected from each other than they are to Europe and etc. So the idea of a general African or even Nigerian culture is far fetched, We have cultural spheres of Nigeria that are as distinct from each other as they are to any other cultural sphere anywhere on Earth, be it in the Americas, Asia or Europe. It is more appropriate to refer to all as human cultures rather than African, Asian, Amerindian or European. Those are not distinct.
