Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand is due to announce on Tuesday morning that he intends to end up plainly as a professional boxer just two months away from his 39th birthday and will be seeking for a boxing license, according to Daily Telegraph.

Ferdinand, who won 81 cap and showed up for Manchester United in over 300 games, is an enthusiastic boxing fan and has conceded investing his time in the gym has helped clear his head somewhat subsequent to losing his wife and the mother of his three kids Rebecca Ellison to breast cancer in 2015.
