According to reports,The autopsy result of Tagbo(RIP) said he died of asphyxia.

What is Asphyxia?

Is there a relationship between Binge drinking and asphyxia

Having made some research, I would say Binge drinking can possibly lead to asphyxia. In my research, I came across Alcohol Asphyxiation.

What is Alcohol Asphyxiation?

Alcohol Asphyxiation

Andrea Shepler Asphyxiation Due to Alcohol Poisoning Alcohol Poisoning- a serious — and sometimes deadly — consequence of drinking large amounts of alcohol in a short period of time. Drinking too much too quickly can affect your breathing, heart rate and gag reflex and potentially lead to coma and death. Alcohol Poisoning What is it? Cause Mostly due to binge drinking. When are You in Danger of Alcohol Asphyxiation? What can happen in the Stupor Stage?

Confusion
Hypothermia (the person's body temperature drops)
Pale skin, sometimes it may take on a bluish tinge
The individual is unresponsive but conscious (stupor)
The individual passes out
Unusual breathing rhythm
Very slow breathing
Vomiting *In some serious cases breathing may stop completely and a heart attack may occur. Also the person may end up choking on their own vomit. binge drinking-drinking enough alcohol to have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) over 0.08. This is typically the consumption of four or more drinks for a woman or five or more drinks for a man in a two-hour time period. More broadly, binge drinking is drinking an excessive amount of alcohol in a short amount of time, leading to serious health and social consequences. The proportion of current drinkers that binge is highest in the 18- to 20-year-old group (51%).

The deceased definitely got involved in the act (Binge drinking). He may not be an alcoholic. It is his birthday, his party and he may just want to merry. Now,my point is, we need to know if his asphyxiation was caused by binge drinking

What to do when a friend is Stupor or taking over by alcohol

How to Help
Try to keep the individual awake

Try to keep them in a sitting position, not lying down

If they are able to take it, give them water

If the person is unconscious put them in the recovery position and check they are breathing

Don't give them coffee, it will worsen their dehydration

Do not lie them on their back

Do not give them any more alcohol to drink

Do not make them walk *Pulmonary aspiration- breathing in or inhalation of foreign material into the trachea and lungs. When you reach the stupor stage.
- or having a (BAC = 0.25% to 0.40%) More so when you reach the coma stage
-or having a (BAC = 0.35% to 0.50%) Blacking out Passing out *Respiration Depression *Decreased Heart Rate *could cause asphyxia Unconsciousness

Depressed reflexes

*Marked and life-threatening respiratory depression

*Markedly decreased heart rate

Most deaths from alcohol poisoning are caused by dosage levels in this range. *could cause asphyxiation What if you don't stop it? If they are underage you could be prosecuted for contributing to the delinquency of a minor just for giving them the alcohol. To You? If they die and you knew you could of done something to help it could cause you emotional/psychological turmoil. To your Friend? Victim chokes on his or her own vomit.

Breathing slows, becomes irregular, or stops.

Heart beats irregularly or stops.

Hypothermia (low body temperature).

Hypoglycemia (too little blood sugar) leads to seizures.

Untreated severe dehydration from vomiting can cause seizures, permanent brain damage, or death.

It's also good to understand that you should never lock up a sleeping man in an air tight vehicle, especially when he needs all the oxygen he can get.
